Ben Luc cooperates in inspecting and propagating for enterprises to proactively prevent Covid-19

The mission inspects the epidemic prevention in the enterprise

Up to February 12, Ben Luc district has managed 295 foreigners, including 162 Chinese. Under the direction of the District People's Committee, the Health and Police sectors have strengthened the inspection of epidemic prevention and control, especially in the enterprises. Accordingly, the enterprises that have Chinese should proactively manage, quarantine and strictly implement epidemic prevention and control methods. In addition, the district has widely propagated to the people through various forms of epidemic prevention.

According to district authorities, the forced quarantine of Chinese in the enterprises has still faced many difficulties, few enterprises have implemented well the quarantine. Some enterprises, especially those located outside the industrial zones and clusters, have not yet been completely and safely quarantined because most Chinese are business owners and experts. In addition, the enterprises in the industrial parks and clusters have cooperated well with authorities in reporting on Chinese. However, the enterprises outside the industrial zones and clusters have been still afraid to report this situation.

After working with the District People's Committee, the mission supervised the epidemic prevention in 2 enterprises that have Chinese, including Jia Tai Footwear Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Luong Binh commune, with more than 220 workers and 11 ones from Taiwan, China) and Long Thinh Viet Co., Ltd. (Phuc Long Industrial Park, with more than 50 workers and 5 Chinese).

At the enterprises, the mission inspected the quarantine under the guidance of the Ministry of Health and asked them to quarantine Chinese in accordance with regulations to avoid meeting other workers or coming to the factory during the time of quarantine. At the same time, the enterprises should provide masks; arrange handwashing facilities with soap and antibacterial dry hand sanitizer for their workers.

Ms. Nguyen Hong Mai said that Ben Luc was proactive in the epidemic prevention and control. The districts and communes, towns should check and propagate the epidemic prevention and control to the enterprises that have Chinese./.
