Chungcheongnam, Korea Youth Volunteers visit Long An
On March 11, the Standing Committee of Long An Provincial Youth Union received an advance delegation from the Institute of Social Welfare, Women, Family and Youth of Chungcheongnam Province, South Korea, to work on the organization of cultural exchange and volunteer activities in Long An Province.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Student Association of Long An province - Pham Van Hau and representatives of departments, branches, sectors, Youth Unions of districts, towns and schools received the delegation. On the side of Chungcheongnam province, the Head of the Institute of Social Welfare, Women, Family and Youth of Chungcheongnam province, South Korea - Park Jun Ho led the delegation.
The representative of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee approved the advance contents and drafted the schedule of the volunteer youth delegation from Chungcheongnam province.
On March 12, the delegation will scout and discuss the content of volunteer activities at Bo De Phuong Duy Primary - Secondary - High School (Thu Thua district); Tan Tru High School (Tan Tru district); Vam Nhut Tao (Tan Tru district); Long An Monument Park "Bravery and Resilence, the whole people fighting the enemy" (Tan An City).

The program is expected to take place from July 15 to July 20. Students from the two provinces will work together to build the Friendship stone bench; the "Friendship Flower Garden" project; plant souvenir trees; visit the Vam Nhut Tao Historical Site; experience making rice cakes; visit Long An Monument Park "Bravery and Resilence, the whole people fighting the enemy", etc. At the same time, there will be cultural exchanges, art performances, children's activities, Vietnamese and Korean folk games, culinary exchange between the two countries, etc.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Student Association of the province - Pham Van Hau shared that Long An province (Vietnam) and Chungcheongnam province (Korea) have established a cooperative relationship since May 2005. After nearly 20 years of association, the relationship between the two provinces has grown increasingly strong, bringing practical results in many fields, especially in cultural exchange, public administration management and education.
