Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut emphasized that the inauguration ceremony of CJ Foods Vietnam Factory - Kizuna 3 marks the start of investors after a year of overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic. This is also a significant economic event of Long An province, marking the recovery of the province's economic development. Through this, once again affirming Long An province's policy of early opening and resuming production and trade, in line with the Government's Resolution 128 on safe, flexible adaptation and effective control of the Covid-19 epidemic.

CJ Foods Vietnam Company (belonging to CJ Group in Vietnam) was built at Kizuna 3 factory area in Tan Kim Industrial Park. In addition, CJ Foods Vietnam Company currently has factories in Tan Phu, Hiep Phuoc factory (HCMC) and Vung Tau factory.

Kizuza factory in Long An has a total investment capital of 40 million USD, including construction cost of 20 million USD and production equipment 20 million USD, built from March 2021 to January 2022. The total construction area of the factory is 40,000 square meters with four floors including the factory, warehouse, office, R&D center and Food Safety Center (FSC).

The factory is designed to include production facilities for domestic products in Vietnam and products for global export. At the same time, it is also a research facility and a complex food safety center to meet the needs of consumers and buyers in the safest and fastest way.

In addition, the factory of CJ Foods Vietnam in Long An is scientifically designed, separating the production areas of non-halal products, halal products and vegan products.

The company's main products include kimchi, rice paper spring rolls, flour spring rolls, Mandu, Korean sauce, instant rice, porridge, spring rolls. In the future, the company plans to expand more rice-based foods that contribute to Vietnam's agricultural development (rice snacks, seaweed products, noodle soup, etc.).

The company's representative said that, with the key equipment installed, the most advanced production equipment includes special testing equipment, special refrigeration equipment, automatic packaging lines, automatic packaging system, continuous mixing, etc.

The factory design in Long An currently has a production capacity of 31,000 tons per year. The plan is to invest another 100 million USD by 2025 to raise the production capacity to 60,000 tons per year.

In addition to modern equipment for production, the company also installs other equipment and means to prevent accidents and ensure safety for workers.
