Long An proactively adapts safely, flexibly and effectively controls the Covid-19 epidemic in accordance with the spirit of direction from superiors. Despite many difficulties, when the province opened up and established a "new normal" state, the enterprises focused on implementing measures and solutions, they both actively reproduced, searched for markets and restored operations, and prevented and combated the epidemic, efforts together with the province to implement the set "dual goals".

As an FDI enterprise, operating in Ben Luc district for many years, Vina Eco Board Co., Ltd. has made efforts to overcome difficulties to maintain and stabilize production as soon as the province actively "opened up" to return to production and trade. According to the company's representative, the company actively cooperated with localities in epidemic prevention and control. In addition, the company arranged personnel, provided recovery plans, searched for markets and orders to stabilize production; at the same time, it researched, applied and planned to invest in more equipment to actively adapt to the new situation.

Deputy Production Director of Semitec Electronic Vietnam Co., Ltd (Can Giuoc District) - Quach Dang Trung assessed that the province's epidemic prevention and control proactively opened production, contributed to helping enterprises stabilize operations soon. The company actively connects with partners, searches for markets, takes advantage of contracts, has a plan to receive employees back to work, implements "on-site- healthcare" and coordinates local in epidemic prevention and control. 

After this epidemic, the company will gradually transform the appropriate production model in the direction of automation, less dependent on personnel and improve and invest in some serving machines; at the same time, it re-surveys the market and expands the production scale (depending on the specific situation).

For example, when the fourth Covid-19 epidemic broke out, negatively affecting production and trade, the province actively created favorable conditions for enterprises to maintain operations.

The province organized the "3-on-site" plan right at the time when the epidemic was very complicated; met and grasped the thoughts and aspirations of enterprises; prioritized vaccination against Covid-19 for workers. Long An is also one of the localities that soon opened and restored production and trade to share difficulties with enterprises. The guidelines and policies from superiors are concretized by the province to each enterprise to grasp, implement and ensure the interests of enterprises as well as employees, etc.

According to the Resolution of the XIth Provincial Party Congress, the term 2020-2025, the province sets a goal "by 2025, to maintain its leading position in the Mekong River Delta and strive to become a quite developed province by 2030 in the Southern Key Economic Region”. To concretize the target, the province urgently completes the provincial master plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.

During the development process, the Party Committee and the provincial government thoroughly understood in thought and action right from the beginning of the term of "considering enterprises as resources, the driving force of development, considering people and enterprises as subjects to serve”. The province affirms its commitment to "always accompanies businesses, considers enterprises' difficulties as the province's difficulties, and enterprises' success as the province's success"; "The Long An government and the business community have been and will always be closely associated with each other".

In the coming time, the province is committed to tightening discipline, transparency, and regularly inspecting and monitoring, especially in the stage of supporting timely and quick resolution of difficulties and problems of enterprises to create favorable conditions for recovery to restore production and trade after the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
