Duc Hoa countrymen Association raises VND 21bln for charity fund

Former president Truong Tan Sang and Long An Party Committee Secretary Pham Van Ranh give certificates of merit to teams and individuals for their contributions to welfare in Duc Hoa district  

The contact board of Duc Hoa countrymen association has made practical contributions to raising funds to build study promotion funds, charity houses and take care of health for the needy in the district. Last year, the association mobilized VND21 billion.

On the occasion of the meeting, five teams and seven individuals received certificates of merits from the provincial People’s Committee chairman, one team and five individuals received certificates of merit from the chairman of Duc Hoa district People’s Committee for their contributions to welfare operations.

At the meeting, businesses and sponsors from HCMC made financial donations to the poor in the district./.
