According to the report from Department of Transport, in implementing reform of administrative procedures, improving competitiveness, promoting and attracting investment, the Department are currently implementing 142 administrative procedures in 3 areas, including registration, road and inland waterway. In which, there are 127 administrative procedures under the jurisdiction of Department of Transport.

In particular, in order to attract investment and develop socio-economic, Department of Transport coordinated with relevant agencies to advise Provincial Party Committee to issue Resolution No. 13 on mobilizing all resources to build a synchronous transport infrastructure system serving industrial and urban development in key economic regions. In particular, roads connecting industrial zones and clusters such as Luong Hoa - Binh Chanh and Huu Thanh - Tan Buu roads will mobilize investment from enterprises. In addition, the Department also regularly coordinates with units and local authorities to carry out site clearance to implement traffic projects, especially key traffic projects.
