Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate bridges and culverts on the road along Tra Cu Thuong canal

Former State President - Truong Tan Sang, Standing Deputy Secretary of Long An Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Van Canh, Editorial Board of Vietnam Rural (Nong Thon Viet) Magazine - Organizing committee of Rural bridge program, representatives of sponsors attended the ceremony.

Accordingly, 8 bridges and 13 culverts on Tra Cu Thuong road were inaugurated and put into operation.

Former President - Truong Tan Sang and Rural bridge program of Vietnam Rural Magazine mobilized businesses and benefactors to build 3 bridges and 10 culverts with a total investment of more than 7 billion VND. Each bridge is 30 meters long, 4 meters wide and 5 tons payload.

The collectives were awarded Certificates of merit by the People's Committee of Long An Province

In order to promote the efficiency of bridges and culverts on the road, the People's Committee of Duc Hue district also upgraded the road and built 5 rural bridges and 3 culverts with a total budget of nearly 25 billion VND from the district budget.

In addition, the district has mobilized businesses to support about 1.5 billion VND for planting trees and installing lighting systems throughout the road.

The works not only create favorable conditions for traffic but also contribute to changing the appearance of the locality.

On this occasion, the provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of merit to 8 collectives for their achievements in campaigning and contributing funds to build rural transport works in Duc Hue district in 2020./.
