Former UN chief Kofi Annan dies at 80
Multiple Ghanaian media sources have confirmed that Kofi Annan, the former Secretary-General of United Nations and Nobel Peace Prize laureate breathed his last on Saturday (August 18) at a hospital in Switzerland after short illness. He was 80.
