Nguyen Trung Truc - Ben Luc High School will be put into operation from the 2023-2024 school year and is one of the 3 key projects of the 12th Ben Luc District Party Congress. Another key project is the Rach Tre bridge and Go Dung bridge on An Thanh - Tan Buu road with a total investment of more than 34 billion VND.

From 2 small, narrow, degraded bridges, with difficult traffic, Rach Tre bridge and Go Dung bridge are now invested in and built spaciously, bringing joy and excitement to students and people. Not only that, these 2 newly built bridges also contribute to completing the traffic infrastructure, contributing to socio-economic development and connecting Ben Luc district with Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh City.

The remaining key project is the investment in construction, renovation and expansion of Ben Luc district administrative area (D1 road), Ben Luc town with a total investment of 57,858 billion VND, which has also been put into use.

According to Ben Luc District Party Secretary - Nguyen Dang Minh Xuan, the 12th District Party Congress proposed 3 key projects and focused on implementation right from the beginning of the term. The District People's Committee has allocated capital, and specialized sectors focused on completing procedures to speed up progress. In particular, the district identified compensation and site clearance as a key task and received the participation of the entire political system. The members of the District Party Committee Standing Committee and the District Party Committee closely monitored the areas under their responsibility, promptly directed and resolved difficulties at the grassroots level, so the basic works basically ensured the set progress. Some difficult and problematic cases were continued to be resolved by the District People's Committee and specialized sectors.

In particular, the district has received the attention and support of leaders at all levels in mobilizing socialized capital to build another high-quality high school - Nguyen Trung Truc High School - Ben Luc district. The people have high consensus and promptly handed over the site to implement the project. Thanks to that, the district's 3 key projects have all completed before 2025.

Creating momentum for socio-economic development

In recent times, Tan Tru district has focused on solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles, inspecting and urging construction units to speed up the progress of the project to upgrade and expand the dike of the Vam Co Tay River. This is the only key project of the 11th District Party Congress.

The Vam Co Tay River dike project combined with traffic routes has its starting point adjacent to Nguyen Trung Truc Street, Tan Tru town and its end point adjacent to Tan An City.

This key project is divided into 3 phases: Phase 1, from Nguyen Trung Truc Street to Cong Ban (in Tan Tru town and Binh Tinh commune) has been completed and put into use; Phase 2, from Cong Ban to Thanh Phong Street (in Binh Tinh and Binh Lang communes); Phase 3 from Thanh Phong Street to the border of Tan An City has been integrated into the district's Land Use Planning for the period 2021-2030.

Currently, the construction units are implementing phase 2. Phase 2 has a total length of more than 3.1km, the construction clearance area is over 15m, following the current status of the existing dike line. The project has a total investment of more than 84 billion VND from the district budget for the period 2022-2024.

Secretary of Tan Tru District Party Committee - Vo Tran Tuan Thanh informed that the key project has an important meaning, creating momentum for the socio-economic development of the locality. This key project is not only associated with high expectations of the people but also requires progress, quality, safety and efficiency

Therefore, the district's working group regularly inspects the district's general traffic works, especially the key project, thereby directing, solving difficulties, coordinating, focusing on speeding up progress, ensuring the quality of the project.

People's work

These days, at the construction site of Hamlet 4, 5, 6, My Quy Tay Commune, Duc Hue District, the working atmosphere and the sound of machines are bustling. This is the only key project of the Resolution of the 12th Duc Hue District Party Congress.

Looking at the asphalt road being urgently implemented, Mr. Tran Van Luot - a resident living nearby, was very happy. Because for many years, this road has been a nightmare for people when traveling. Therefore, when there was a policy to asphalt the road, he and about 460 households in My Quy Tay commune agreed to donate land with a total value of more than 4.2 billion VND.

"We cannot express our joy and excitement when seeing the road gradually completed. So our wish after many years has come true" - Mr. Luot confided.

The road of hamlets 4, 5, 6 is the main road of My Quy Tay commune. In recent years, this road has seriously degraded. Although the district has invested a lot of money every year to maintain and repair, it still cannot meet the needs of people to travel and exchange goods.

This project was started in February 2023, with a total length of nearly 8km, and a total investment of more than 85 billion VND. To date, the project has reached about 80% of the volume.

When completed, the project will not only meet the expectations of the people, serve the travel and exchange of goods needs of people on both sides of the region, but also contribute to socio-economic development associated with national defense and security stability on the border.

Duc Hue District Party Secretary - Tran Thanh Phong said that the District Party Committee organized the dissemination of related contents in My Quy Tay commune, detailed information as well as the significance of the project, so it received great consensus from the people. This is a project of "The State and the People working together", in which people are mobilized to donate land, architectural works and assets on the land without compensation. Thanks to that, the site clearance work was smooth, contributing to the implementation of the project.

In the coming time, the District Party Committee directs the District People's Committee to work with the construction unit to speed up the progress, deploy and implement the remaining items of the project, striving to complete and put into use on the occasion of September 2 to celebrate the 79th National Day.

The key projects not only have great social security significance, contributing to improving the quality of life of the people but also promoting the development of the local socio-economic situation. Therefore, ensuring the progress of the key projects not only completes the Resolution's targets, but also serves as a driving force for Party committees and authorities at all levels to aim for higher goals in the upcoming term - the 2025-2030 term./.
