OCOP products, typical products of the province are prioritized for promotion at the fair

Accordingly, the fair will be held at Ward 3 park, Tan An city from August 10 to 18, 2024 with a scale of 220 booths. Of which, there are 30 booths reserved for the Provincial Fatherland Front Committees at all levels to display and promote OCOP products, typical products of the locality and the province.

In addition to the booths reserved for the Provincial Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, the remaining booths at the Fair also prioritize domestic and foreign enterprises to display and promote their products.

Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Long An Province - Huynh Van Quang Hung affirmed that, in addition to being associated with the event to welcome the 10th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029, the fair is a series of activities responding to the development of the domestic market associated with the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize Vietnamese goods", creating favorable conditions for production and business establishments to introduce typical products, OCOP products, high-tech products inside and outside the province to have the opportunity to exchange and share experiences; promote the distribution system to facilitate the essential services and goods with strengths into distribution channels in provinces and cities across the country.

In order for the fair to be associated with the event to welcome the 10th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029, to take place successfully and on schedule, the Department of Industry and Trade has sent a document to relevant units such as the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Market Management Department, the People's Committee of Tan An City and Chau Anh Phat Group Co. Ltd. (the organizer of the fair) to pay attention to implementing many solutions.

Accordingly, the Department of Industry and Trade respectfully requests the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to pay attention to leading and directing the organization of the fair. At the same time, the Department of Industry and Trade requested the Market Management Department to regularly strengthen inspection and supervision of the origin and quality of goods of the booths for sale during the Fair, and strictly handle violations; Tan An City People's Committee directed functional forces to strengthen inspection to ensure fire prevention, security, order, traffic safety, food hygiene and safety at the fair.
