Long An: 15 certificates awarded to province- level typical rural industrial products
On December 15, the Long An Department of Industry and Trade held a ceremony to award certificates of typical rural industrial products at the provincial and district levels and awarded the title of good craftsman in the handicraft industry in 2021.
Province-level certificates of typical rural industrial products are awarded
From June to October 2021, the Center for Industrial and Trade Promotion will compile a list of proposals for consideration and selection of rural industrial products at district level; guiding the preparation of dossiers and organizing the voting of rural industrial products at district level; receive a list of typical rural industrial products to be voted on at the provincial level.
After the implementation period, the Council for selecting typical rural industrial products at provincial and district levels decided to issue certificates of typical rural industrial products at district level for 21 products of 17 rural industrial establishments and 15 province-level rural industrial products of 15 rural industrial establishments.
In particular, the province registered 3 products to participate in the national vote, of which 2 products were recognized and granted the National typical rural industrial product certificate in 2021.
Accordingly, up to now, Long An has 132 rural industrial products at district level, 67 rural industrial products at provincial level, 21 rural industrial products at regional level and 9 rural industrial products at national level.
12 skilled craftsmen are awarded titles in the handicraft industry
After a period of implementation and consideration for awarding the title of artisan, good worker in Long An province in the handicraft industry, the province decided to award the title to 12 skilled workers in the handicraft industry in 2021. Up to now, The whole province has awarded titles to 19 artisans, 201 good workers and 2 people with meritorious services to the province in the handicraft industry.
The awarding of certificates of typical rural industrial products and the title of skilled craftsman in the handicraft industry has great spiritual significance, helping rural industrial establishments and skilled workers to more motivation to continue making efforts to keep the job and pass it on to future generations, and at the same time, raise the level of agricultural and rural products in the locality./.
