Immediately after deciding to allocate the 42nd phase of Covid-19 vaccine (with 992,160 doses of Pfizer vaccine), the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology - Ministry of Health continued to allocate the 43rd phase with 8 million doses of Vero Cell vaccine for 25 provinces and cities.

Accordingly, with 8 million doses of this Covid-19 vaccine (Vero Cell - Sinopharm vaccine sponsored by the Sponsoring Joint Stock Company of Van Thinh Phat Group), Long An is allocated 200,000 doses.
It is known that in Long An, this number of vaccines is expected to be injected the shot 2 to those who have received the shot 1 of Vero Cell vaccine with enough time. As of September 19, Long An injected a total of 1,612,093 shots, including 1,423,710 first shots and 188,383 second shots.
According to this decision, the General Department of Logistics and the Ministry of National Defense directed the Military Zones to contact and coordinate with the Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology/Pasteur in the regions to agree on the receipt and transport of vaccines to the provinces, cities under the management of military zones.
Centers for Disease Control of provinces or cities immediately organize to inject the allocated number of Covid-19 vaccines and report the implementation results to the Department of Preventive Medicine, the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology and the Institutes of Hygiene and Epidemiology/Pasteur according to management zone.
The Institutes of Hygiene and Epidemiology/Pasteur carry out the import and export of vaccines for provinces and cities on the National Immunization Information Management System according to regulations./.
