Long An: Customs budget collection reaches 3,409 billion VND

From the beginning of 2019 to November 15, 1,774 enterprises carried out customs procedures for import and export goods at sub-department of Customs

Up to November 15, import and export turnover of goods under commercial contracts reached 12.6 billion USD, an increase of 3 percent over the same period in 2018. In particular, taxable turnover in the period reached 1.4 billion USD (accounting for 11 percent of total turnover), an increase of 40 percent over the same period in 2018. By the end of December 31, the total import and export turnover is forecast to reach 14 billion USD.

From the above results, up to November 15, the total budget revenue of the whole department was 3,409 billion VND, exceeding 40 percent compared to the Ministry of Finance's target, reaching 92 percent of the General Department of Customs' target, an increase of 48 percent compared to the same period in 2018.

In particular, the revenue in Long An province reached 3,156 billion VND, exceeding 53.3 percent of the Ministry of Finance's target, reaching 95.1 percent of the General Department of Customs' target, an increase of 58 percent compared to the same period in 2018. In Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces, the state budget revenue reached VND 253 billion, reaching 66.5 percent of the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Customs’ target, equaling 84.4 percent compared to the same period in 2018.

In 2019, the revenue target of Long An Customs Department assigned by the Ministry of Finance is 2,440 billion VND; the target of the General Department of Customs is 3,700 billion VND. From the actual result of the collection until November 15, by the end of the year, Long An Customs Department will complete the task in 2019 to collect 3,700 billion VND./.
