Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of the Foreign Affairs, Chairman of the National Border Committee - Le Hoai Trung gave general information about the situation in the world and the region, the East Sea and the Vietnam-Cambodia border 

Member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of the Foreign Affairs, Chairman of the National Border Committee - Le Hoai Trung; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Tran Van Can; Provincial Commissioners; and leaders of departments, agencies, unions of the province attended the conference.

At the conference, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of the Foreign Affairs, Chairman of the National Border Committee - Le Hoai Trung gave general information about the situation in the world and the region, especially the Asia-Pacific region; results of Vietnam's foreign affairs in recent years; results of land demarcation between Vietnam and Cambodia; the importance of the East Sea to the world and Vietnam; forecasts and issues in resolving disputes, protecting Vietnam's sovereignty over sea and islands in recent years; the policies of the Party and the State on the East Sea issue in the current situation; and so on.

This conference aimed to improve the effectiveness of the propaganda to cadres, Party members and people about the strategic role and position of our sea, islands and borders in the cause of national construction and defense; to raise the awareness of compliance with Vietnamese laws and international laws, contributing to the protection and preservation of the sea, islands, and sovereignty of national borders./.
