On January 20, at the Trade Union of Industrial Zones of Long An province, the provincial Labor Federation held to present bus tickets and see off 250 workers and laborers in remote provinces to return hometown for Tet.

According to the Chairman of Long An Labor Federation - Nguyen Van Qui: "On this occasion of the Lunar New Year 2020, the provincial Labor Federation mobilizes fund sources, organizes vehicles for 250 disadvantaged workers in the Northern, Central and Mekong River Delta provinces to return hometown to enjoy Tet holiday with their family. Workers who are sent home to welcome Tet are also presented Tet gifts by local grassroots trade unions”.

According to the plan, on the 4th of Lunar New Year, there will be a car to pick up workers from hometown to come back to Long An to work again on the 6th of Lunar New Year. Recently, the grassroots trade unions in many businesses also proposed, coordinated the Board of Directors to organize the donation of bus tickets for more than 1,000 remote workers to return hometown to enjoy Tet and reunite with their families./.
