Long An: Party - Spring 2022 celebrated with new beliefs, new victories

From 6:30 a.m., the Thong Nhat Hall of the Long An Provincial People's Committee began to bustle. Many delegates from far away also took advantage of coming early to see the comrades they worked with each year. Everyone's faces were filled with joy, excitement and anticipation.

Hopefully, the Covid-19 epidemic will soon be pushed back so that in the new year everyone can have peace and welcome a joyful and happy spring".

As one of the delegates who arrived quite early, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Sau - former Deputy Director of the Provincial Public Security, former Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command, said: "Every year, it's time to come. This is me again hungover to the day of the meeting. This is an opportunity for retired cadres like me to be updated on the situation in the province. With outstanding efforts and results in 2021, we believe that in 2022, Long An will continue to reap more successes, develop faster and more sustainably in the coming time".

Delegates visit and wish good health after 2 years of meeting

At the meeting, with loud laughter, handshakes, and tight hugs, the delegates visited each other about the health situation, family as well as changes in the province and locality in the past year. Many delegates, despite their old age and infirmity, still managed to arrange enough time to attend this year's gathering to make this year's gathering more cozy.

At 8 o'clock, the meeting officially began with a musical program to celebrate the Party - celebrate Spring with many special performances. In addition to the vibrant songs, full of Vietnamese New Year flavor, the delegates also enjoyed deeply resounding songs praising the Party and the homeland. In particular, the comedy work Tao Quan reviews 10 outstanding events of Long An in the past year, which was meticulously choreographed. All have left the delegates attending the meeting with a lot of emotions.

At the meeting, the delegates also watched the reportage of Long An - A year of overcoming challenges. It recognizes the efforts of the entire Party, people and army in the province in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic. From a locality that is the "epidemic center" of the whole country, but with the spirit of solidarity and unity, "one who has people shouting to clear the way ahead and protecting behind", the entire Party Committee, the government and the people have upheld the will to self-reliance, self-help, high determination, great efforts, successful implementation of the "dual goals" under the direction of the Government, bringing Long An back to the "new normal" state.

In the speech to celebrate the Party - celebrate the Lunar New Year 2022, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc reviewed the glorious tradition of the Communist Party of Vietnam through 92 years of construction and growth. We are proud of our great Party, our heroic nation, our army's invincibility and our invincible victory, and having a much-loved leader - President Ho Chi Minh, he affirmed. Under the leadership of the Party, we are determined to conquer the peak of the aspiration "Rich people, strong nation, democracy, justice and civilization".

With that determination, in 2021 - the first year of the XI Congress of the Provincial Party Committee, a turbulent year when the Covid-19 epidemic is extremely complicated in the province, seriously affecting all aspects of the social life, but the Party Committee, government and people in the province have firmly overcome with the spirit of "Fire proves gold, adversity proves men". It is the "perseverance and determination" that has created great strength for Long An to take the initiative, gradually control the Covid-19 epidemic well and become the first locality in the epidemic center to implement to "open door" the eonomy. Socio-economic activities were restored quickly, safely and flexibly in the "new normal" state, gradually regaining growth momentum.

On the other hand, the province also focuses on taking good care of people's lives, determined to "no one is left behind"; defense and security work is maintained; the operation of the political system is increasingly effective; Party building and rectification work is becoming more and more practical. The people and business community believe and agree with the line and leadership of the Party and State, constantly promote the spirit of solidarity, work together, and work together with the Party Committee and government to build the Long An homeland increasingly richer and more beautiful.
