Long An People's Committee and HCMCUTE sign MoU on cooperation in period 2022 – 2025
On October 13, Long An People's Committee and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMCUTE) held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony for the period of 2022 - 2025. According to the MoU, the Long An People's Committee and the HCMCUTE will cooperate in the field of training high-quality human resources. Accordingly, the two sides will coordinate and support training at intermediate and college levels for fields and careers that the province are in need of human resources such as mechanical engineering technology, mechanical engineering, automotive technology, so on; training for students from intermediate schools, colleges to universities in the province; coordinate and support high schools in the province in career guidance, development of STEM clubs, in organizing science and technology creative competitions; link university training in the fields that the province needs, especially classes located at Long An College; etc.
In addition, the two sides also cooperate in the field of scientific research, project development such as exchanging lecturers, providing experts, facilitating study tours, expertise, experience, management skills and other fields of study and other related fields; cooperation in scientific research, project implementation, technology transfer, necessary needs, human resource development in Long An province.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa emphasized: In terms of human resource training, Long An now urgently needs training on additional teachers for vocational schools in the province and college level training for the province, meeting the demand for quality labor in industrial zones and clusters of the province. In which, college training activities should be carried out at provincial vocational schools to create favorable conditions for students. Therefore, he hoped that the two sides would jointly study and consider the conditions for conducting this urgent human resource training. In addition, he also ordered the school to participate in supporting the province in carrying out scientific research projects on training high-quality human resources, meeting the needs of businesses, etc.

Vice President of HCMCUTE – Assoc. Dr. Le Hieu Giang said that Long An is in short supply of human resources. Therefore, the school will strive to cooperate with the province in training human resources, meeting the current labor market needs of the province. Accordingly, the school is ready to open joint training classes from intermediate to university level, from college to university or high school graduates to attend university at the school; at the same time, participating in training master's level for managers, training teachers for schools, etc. For high schools, the school wishes to cooperate with the educational sector in career counseling for students, building a STEM club at a high school,etc.
This is an activity to enhance cooperation and development opportunities between the university and vocational education institutions, the community and society, it thereby enhances the cooperation of the parties in inter-connected activities, link, train high-quality human resources, cooperate in scientific research, transfer technology, and so on to the province. The MoU is effective from the date of signing until either party gives a notice of termination 60 days in advance./.
