Delegates of Long An Provincial People's Council voted to approve the agenda of the 18th session

54 out of 57 representatives of the provincial People's Council attended the meeting. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Pham Van Ranh and 2 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Thanh Cang, Mai Van Nhieu chaired the meeting.

According to the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Pham Van Ranh, in early December 2019, the Provincial People's Council held the 17th session (the regular meeting at the end of 2019) to perform the function of supervision, review and decided to issue 24 resolutions. In the process of managing socio-economic development after the 17th meeting up to now, some important and urgent issues have arisen according to the new regulations of the Central and local practical requirements. It is necessary to immediately submit to the Provincial People's Council to promptly consider and decide, as a basis for the provincial People's Committee to organize the implementation.

In response to this request, at this extraordinary meeting, the Provincial People's Council will review and decide the provincial People's Committee's proposals on Price list of land types in 5-year period (2020 - 2024); project list of conversing land use purpose and recovering land; the adjustment of investment policy of Provincial road 823B project - phase 1 and the road along the West canal, sub-project 2; the adjustment relating to issues of investment capital of Tan An city Ring Road project and bridges across Vam Co Tay river; allocation of additional targeted capital from the central budget to implement the National target program on building new-style rural areas and sustainable poverty reduction by 2020./.
