Long An People's Council holds second meeting on August 17, 2021

The Provincial People's Council reviews and prepares the contents of the  second meeting

According to the program, after the opening session, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council will present a report summarizing the voters’ opinions and recommendations before the second meeting and a report on the program of monitoring activities in 2022 of the Provincial People's Council; a proposal for promulgating the Scheme on continuing to innovate and improve the quality and performance of the Xth Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026; Report on the operating regulation of the Xth Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province will present the work of participating in constructing the government in the first 6 months of 2021. The Delegation of the National Assembly of Long An province announced the summary of the results of the first session of the Vth National Assembly. The Provincial People's Committee reports on direction, administration, socio-economic development situation in the first 6 months and tasks for the last 6 months of 2021; Report on implementing measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic until August 2021.

At this meeting, the Provincial People's Council will consider and approve resolutions on the assignment of the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025; adjusting investment policy in the project of building a new Traditional Medicine Hospital; invest in a new construction project of Lung Hospital; regulations on expenditures and levels of supporting in the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control; stipulate standard levels of social assistance and levels of social assistance for social protection beneficiaries and other disadvantaged people in need of urgent assistance.

Besides, the Provincial People's Council will also decide on investment policy in some important traffic works such as the project of ground clearance for the bypass route - on the left side of the route, section of ward 4, Tan An city; project of Provincial Road 819; adjusting the investment policy for the project of the traffic axis road connecting National Highway 62 to the Moc Hoa - Thanh Hoa inter-district Road; adjusting investment policy for project of Provincial Road 822B; adjusting the investment policy for the project of upgrading and expanding Provincial Road 830 in phase 2; adjusting the investment policy for the bridge project over the Vam Co Tay river; implementing the Ring Road 3, Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City, etc./.
