Long An People's Council prepares contents and agenda for mid-2019 meeting session

Standing Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Thanh Cang requests to propagandize about the time and contents of the meeting to voters and the people in the province so that they will know to monitor and contribute their comments.

The 14th meeting session (Mid-2019 meeting session), the Provincial People's Council, session IX, is scheduled to be held in two days (18 and 19 July 2019) at the Hall of Provincial Party Committee. Previously, the provincial People's Council will hold an extraordinary meeting session at the end of May 2019 to discuss some important and urgent issues.

According to the agenda, the Standing Committee of Provincial People's Council will inform reports on the operation of the Standing Committee of Provincial People's Council in the first 6 months of 2019 and the tasks of the last 6 months of the year at the mid-2019 meeting session; record voters' opinions and recommendations before the 14th meeting session of the provincial People's Council; the monitoring results on the theme "The implementation of policies and laws in carrying out investment projects in industrial and residential infrastructure in the province"; etc.

Besides, the Provincial People's Committee will report on the implementation of the State budget estimates; progress of capital construction investment; results of anti-corruption work. At the same time, it is recommended to issue a Resolution on schooling regulations for State officials, civil servants and employees and the remuneration for lecturers and reporters; the supportive policies for linkage of production and consumption of agricultural products; the tuition fee of the school year 2019 - 2020; and so on.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Thanh Cang requested that the relevant agencies urgently deploy the preparation of the meeting contents timely and with good quality. The draft contents of reports, statement and resolutions must be prepared carefully, practically and feasibly, they ensure a sufficient legal basis and dossiers as prescribed. The time and contents of meetings should be informed and propagandized to voters and people in the province to monitor and contribute their comments./.
