On February 10, Deputy Secretary of Long An Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Tran Van Can checked the prevention and control of acute respiratory disease caused by the new strain of novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in Duc Hoa and Duc Hue districts.

Border Guard Station of My Quy Tay Border Gate has actively grasped the guiding documents to officers and soldiers; arranged hand washing sinks at the unit; hung banners and slogans; measured body temperature for incoming passengers. At the same time, it has coordinated with related sectors to promote propaganda to people and sprayed disinfectant.

The district should strictly control border gates and trails for the incoming passengers; check their body temperature for timely detection and quarantine to avoid overlapping the epidemic such as foot and mouth disease, avian influenza A/H5N1. If the epidemic is detected in inland areas, it is necessary to destroy and sterilize it immediately.

The border forces should coordinate with the functional forces to tighten the management of smuggling. However, the unit should not let trade congestion occur, affecting economic development because of the epidemic.

Duc Hoa district leaders should closely manage foreign workers; direct the Health sector to guide the quarantine process of suspected nCoV infection for all health facilities in the area, health workers in enterprises; and so on./.
