Long An Provincial Youth Union receives scouting delegation of Youth Activities Promotion Center of Chungcheongnam Province, Korea

At the meeting, Mr. Jeong Woo Seong - Head of the scouting delegation of Youth Activities Promotion Center of Chungcheongnam Province, Korea informed about the contents of the official activities. Representative of the Provincial Youth Union; Education and training Department; Foreign Service Department; People's Committee of Tan An City;Directors Board of Thu Thua High School; Phuong Duy Bodhi School also shared and contributed ideas to the program to organize exchange activities.

In 2 days, March 30-31, the delegation discussed volunteer activities at Phuong Duy Bodhi School; Thu Thua High School; Vinh Phong communal house (Thu Thua district). In addition, they also visited Long An General Hospital; "brave and resilient Long An" Monument Park; surveyed about food, accommodation, means of transportation for activities;etc.

Volunteering exchange activities between Chungcheongnam Province (Korea) and Long An Province (Vietnam) will take place at the end of July, early August of 2023. This is the first direct exchange between young people of the two provinces after a period of hiatus due to the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, in order to enhance mutual understanding between the people of Long An - Chungcheongnam and consolidate the friendly cooperation and development between the two localities.

Meaningful, practical and useful activities have been carried out by students, thereby cultivating more friendship and good relations between the youth of the two provinces

It is known that Long An Province (Vietnam) and Chungcheongnam Province (Korea) established cooperative relations in May 2005. After 18 years of establishment and implementation, the cooperation relationship between the two provinces has always been effective in many fields, especially  in the exchange of cultural and youth delegations, public administration and education. Many student delegations from Chungchenongnam province visited, exchanged and got acquainted with students of Long An province. Many meaningful, practical and useful activities have been carried out by students of the two provinces, thereby fostering the friendship and good relationship between the young people./.
