Policies were issued such as supporting the building of a complete model, replicating a new model of cooperatives; to build and develop cooperatives and cooperative groups in applying high-tech agricultural production areas in association with new-style rural construction; to build and support cooperatives in applying high-tech agricultural production; support laborers with college and university degrees to work for a definite time at high-tech cooperatives and cooperatives participating in the pilot project of a new model of cooperatives under Decision No. 445/QD-TTg.

In addition, the supportive policies encourage to develop cooperation between production and consumption of agricultural products, build large fields; support investment model to build ponds in brackish water shrimp farming; support investment in infrastructure construction and production development projects linked along the value chain, linking production with product consumption; etc.

Thanks to supportive policies, the activities of cooperatives are more diverse than before. Cooperatives perform well the role of linking farmer households together to deploy and apply scientific and technical advances, and jointly produce according to a process to create goods and better quality products. The cooperatives have large scale, wide range of activities and high turnover such as Phuoc Hoa Safe Vegetable Cooperative, Phuoc Thinh Agriculture Production, Trade Service Cooperative, Tam Vu Dragon Fruit Cooperative, etc. The effective Cooperatives has brought many benefits to the cooperative and their members.

Cooperatives rated positively on the access, benefit level and appropriateness of agricultural supportive policies. However, the supportive policies to support cooperatives in the period 2002 - 2020 are many, they spread out, scattered, and lack resources for implementation. Some policies have not been implemented effectively, such as credit incentives, product processing support, labor support, etc. Therefore, the number of cooperatives is entitled to support and preferential policies of the State that are still limited./.
