More than 4.2 billion VND of loan disbursed to pay salary due to stopping operation

As of October 10, 2021, 9 enterprises in the province have been approved and disbursed more than 4.2 billion VND to pay salary for 1,551 workers (Illustrative photo)

Accordingly, 14 loan applications of 9 enterprises in the province have been approved and more than 4.2 billion VND disbursed to pay salary for 1,551 workers. When the employers meet the prescribed loan conditions, they will be entitled to a preferential loan with an interest rate of 0 percent within less than12-month term.

In addition, the provincial VBSP is guiding the loan applications according to regulations with 11 enterprises that need to borrow capital to pay salary due to stopping operation, pay salary when restoring production for 931 workers with an amount of over 8.6 billion VND. 

Over the past time, the provincial VBSP has actively coordinated with relevant departments, branches and units to propagate and widely disseminate guidelines and policies on lending to employers to pay salary due to stopping operation and restore production according to Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP and Decision No. 23/2021/QD-TTg. In particular, it has approached and contacted all labor-using units in the province for timely information on support policies to ensure the interests of employees and employers affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. 

Currently, the provincial VBSP is focusing on receiving and guiding labor users to complete their documents to receive loans quickly, promptly and in accordance with regulations when the enterprises restore their production and trade./.
