Mr. Mai Van Nhieu re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam-China Friendship Association of Long An province for the term 2020-2025
On November 14, the Vietnam-China Friendship Association (VCFA) of Long An province held the VCFA Congress for the third term (2020-2025).
Over the past 5 years, the VCFA of Long An province has strictly followed the instructions of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Committee of Long An Province, the Department of Foreign Affairs and other related departments.
The Executive Committee of the Association has developed 3 clubs, including the Chinese language Club, the Entrepreneur’s Club, and the Lion Dance Club, which has gathered 38 new members. Club members have voluntarily participated in beneficial social activities, in response to the volunteer campaigns launched by the locality.
VCFA of Long An Province successfully organized a friendly exchange with the Friendship Association of Liaoning Province (China). Since then, it signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a cooperative relationship with the Liaoning Foreign Friendship Association.

Especially, VCFA of Long An province cooperated with other friendship associations and functional leaders of the province to exchange with Chinese and Taiwanese enterprises, investing in Long An.
Over the past time, the Association has actively done social work: supported Cambodian students; giving gifts to Vietnamese Heroic mothers; Blind Association; etc.
The congress elected the Executive Committee of VCFA of Long An province, term III (2020-2025). Mr. Mai Van Nhieu - Vice Chairman of People's Council of Long An province, re-elected Chairman of VCFA of Long An province for the term (2020-2025).
In the new term (2020-2025), the VCFA of Long An province continues to expand the people's external front, gather the masses, firstly the students, businessmen and workers to join clubs as a basis to deploy the People's Diplomacy with Chinese Partners in Long An Province.
Through exchange activities, external information, the Association proactively acts as a bridge to support students and businessmen to associate with production and business, learn to improve knowledge, and share experiences with the Chinese People./.
