On October 5, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Long An Branch, held the Opening Ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year. The Long An Branch of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education was established in November 2023 on the basis of Long An College of Education with an area of over 81,000 m2. The training scale of the branch is from 500 to 600 students and increases according to the roadmap every year. The branch will recruit university-level students, provide regular training according to demand and provide preschool and general education training.
At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa shared: "The launch of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Education Branch in Long An province is an important event, marking the right development in the school's strategy on training and fostering a team of quality teachers in the region in general and Long An province in particular".

After announcing the establishment decision, the delegates performed the launching ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Long An Branch, opening new chapters in the journey of educational development.
On this occasion, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut presented a symbolic board of the total budget for teacher training orders (nearly 68 billion VND) according to Decree 116 of the Government to Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.

At the ceremony, the school honored and awarded 75 new students, graduate students, and postgraduates with outstanding admission achievements in 2024./.
