Postmart platform – Long An Post Office supports Vietnamese goods and agricultural products

Director of Long An Post Office - On Thi Kim Hong said: "Implementing the plan of the People's Committee of Long An province and Vietnam Post Corporation, the Long An Post Office has strengthened coordination to deliver agricultural products of the agricultural production households on the Postmart e-commerce platform of the Corporation. Products on the platform will be connected to 63 provinces and cities across the country as an effective and reputable channel for introducing, buying and selling products.”

In the immediate future, Postmart platform will introduce products with typical and outstanding characteristics of Long An province to connect to introduce products, try them out and then create a connection between manufacturers and consumers to have stable and long-term cooperation. In particular, the platform will currently provide free support for all agricultural production households when the agricultural products are put on the e-commerce platform.

Accordingly, there will be 3 ways to upload the product on the floor: A centralized way to do it directly, a way to do it remotely for individual customers, and a home support team to support farmers. It is known that the Provincial Post Office will set up farmer support groups in each locality and strive to create more than 1,000 accounts for farmers with agricultural products to participate on the Postmart e-commerce platform in the near future.

Information from the Long An Post Office, since implementing the plan of the Long An People's Committee up to now, the Postmart e-commerce platform of the provincial Post Office has put 10 agricultural products on the platform. Up to now, there are more than 130 agricultural products on the floor, in which there are many typical products of Long An to help friends near and far to know and try it, such as Co Chau sausage, Can Duoc district; bananas, dried dragon fruit in Thu Thua; grass straws in Duc Hue district; dried fish, fermented fish in Dong Thap Muoi, fermented Lia Thia fish in Duc Hue; etc.

Director of HG Food Joint Stock Company - Duong Thi Truc Giang, Thu Thua district expressed: "Since joining the e-commerce platform of the Post Office, the company's orders have also increased. Many items have been known by many people in all provinces and cities. HG Company has assigned an employee specializing in promoting and introducing products on the e-commerce floor.”

Currently, HG Company has products including jackfruit, banana and dried dragon fruit (red and white flesh). In the near future, the company will also provide more dried mango and guava products, the output is currently 5-6 tons of dried fruit per month.

Currently, Postmart - Provincial Post Office has more than 1,000 daily visits.
