Promoting the power of national unity

After the merger, the new Tay Ninh province has not only expanded its administrative boundaries but also consolidated and spread the spirit of solidarity and cohesion between the two old lands. In the destination that has just been connected geographically, the people are also getting closer to each other. In that journey, the role of the Fatherland Front at all levels as a bridge between the Party, the government and the people has been promoted more clearly and effectively than ever.

Religious activities of the Khmer ethnic group

Building a solid foundation from the people's hearts

From the very first days of unification, the political system of Thanh Hoa commune urgently consolidated its organization, arousing a sense of responsibility among cadres, party members and people. In particular, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune played a key role in gathering and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, making an important contribution to creating a solid political and social foundation for the new commune.

“The Fatherland Front system of communes in the area identifies the top priority task as doing a good job of propaganda and mobilization so that people understand the meaning and importance of the merger, thereby arousing the sense of responsibility, consensus and joint efforts of the entire people in building a new and developed commune. At the same time, the Front must truly be a bridge between the Party's will and the people's hearts, listening to the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the people to promptly reflect, propose and recommend to competent authorities. We listen and coordinate more closely with member organizations to promote the tradition of solidarity so that all classes of people can work towards a common goal, which is to build a new, developed, humane, civilized and modern commune" - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa commune - Ngo Le Dung spoke to reporters.

In recent times, social security programs in Thanh Hoa commune have all been implemented by the connection between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations

From patriotic emulation movements, the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" to social security programs, building Great Unity houses, caring for poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households, all bear the mark of the connection between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations. These activities not only contribute to stabilizing people's lives but also arouse the spirit of self-management, "mutual love and support" in the community, strengthen the friendship between neighbors, and firmly connect people in the new land.

In each residential area, the dynamism and enthusiasm of the Front Working Committees help bind the friendship between the neighbors, arouse and promote local resources. People's meetings continue to be held regularly, models of mobilizing people to join hands to maintain environmental sanitation and care for the disadvantaged are strongly implemented, creating positive changes in both awareness and action in the community.

In Say Giang hamlet, Vinh Hung commune, the spirit of self-management and proactiveness of the people is a solid foundation for the Front to effectively implement activities. The Front Committee plays a core role in propagating and mobilizing people to maintain security, order, environmental sanitation, encourage each other to develop the economy, etc.

Implementing the Bright, green, clean, beautiful, peaceful model has made the appearance of Say Giang hamlet (Vinh Hung commune) more beautiful

Head of the Say Giang hamlet Front Work Committee - Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan said that the most important thing is to be close to the people, understand each specific situation to mobilize appropriately. Many households are willing to contribute their efforts if they see the work as beneficial to the community. Thanks to that, the models: Bright, green, clean, beautiful, peaceful roads; Garbage-free self-management groups, etc. have all received high consensus, bringing practical results. Activities to care for the disadvantaged, households in difficult circumstances, children going to school, and lonely elderly people are also carried out regularly from socialized resources, leaving no one behind, contributing to building a solid unity bloc right from the grassroots.

"Compared to our time, today's generation lives in peace, is given many opportunities to study, establish themselves, and start a career. Many young people today are dynamic and very talented. Not only that, they also play the role of connecting and serving the community" - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee - Pham Ba Hung said.

As a Catholic, Mr. Hung acknowledged that in the place where he lives as well as in many other parishes, the spirit of solidarity following Ho Chi Minh's ideology is clearly demonstrated. “On religious holidays, religious people and dignitaries from other religions come together to celebrate, such as in Catholic Christmas, and authorities at all levels and representatives of other religions come to congratulate,” added Mr. Pham Ba Hung.

Mr. Hoang Duc Danh, a K’Ho ethnic assistant to the Mass Mobilization Department, Political Department, 5th Infantry Division, told reporters that ethnic minority intellectuals are the most effective channel to propagate the Party’s guidelines and policies, the State’s policies and laws to their own relatives and compatriots to avoid being exploited and incited by hostile forces.

In the journey of forming and developing the new Tay Ninh province, the Vietnam Fatherland Front not only acts as a bridge between the Party, the government and the people, but also a place to gather and spread the sustainable values of the tradition of great solidarity, morality and love, and the desire for innovation. Whether in the land that used to belong to Tay Ninh or Long An, the spirit of solidarity, sharing, and mutual support still exists in every lifestyle and daily work of the people./.
