Many investors are interested in exploiting tourism projects in the province, gradually attracting tourists. The provincial tourism industry is proactive in connecting and promoting the image of the province's tourism in many different forms. In the period of 2021 - 2023, the number of tourists in the province increased by an average of 69%/year. The average revenue growth was 76%/year.

Despite those results, Long An tourism still faces many difficulties such as the mechanism and policies for tourism development are not really open to attract large investors; infrastructure, especially traffic infrastructure, has not met the requirements for connecting with key tourist areas/destinations; investment capital for tourism is still limited; human resources have not met the development needs; etc.

At the working session, the delegates of the monitoring delegation gave many opinions to clarify the difficulties and obstacles that the tourism industry is facing as well as orienting a number of solutions to gradually remove the difficulties. The delegation also listened to explanations from the Provincial People's Committee as well as related sectors.
