Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of People's Council of Long An - Pham Van Ranh gives a speech at a meeting with the KT Group 

At Samsung Group, the delegation visited models of smart houses and smart apartments. These models strengthen multimedia connectivity in the management of buildings and apartments.

After that, the delegation visited and worked with KT Group - Korea's leading technology corporation with an annual turnover of 18 billion USD.

Senior Vice President of  KT Group - Kim Young Woo introduced their modern technologies such as 5G technology as well as applications in smart cities, smart farms, smart factories and e-government.

Currently, the group and the Green Economy Institute, Lavifood Company of Vietnam are cooperating to research and invest in the project in Long An province to apply the group's latest technologies to the development of industry, agriculture and smart government in the province.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of People's Council of Long An - Pham Van Ranh highly appreciated the capability of the KT Group as well as the ability to succeed in coordination between the group and its partners in the implementation of the project in Long An province. Long An would create the most favorable conditions for the group's investment activities in the province.

The delegation also visited and worked with the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation of Korea (NACF) and the Korea Agricultural Group (Nonghyup); surveyed and worked with wholesale markets and auction centers of fresh flowers (AT Center), vegetables (Garak).

According to Mr. Pham Van Ranh, the models of these agricultural markets were very suitable for the conditions of Long An province, contributing to improving the value of agricultural products and the management of agricultural trade.

At present, the province has a plan to implement wholesale markets for agricultural products. Therefore, the provincial leaders highly welcome and create favorable conditions for Vietnamese and Korean enterprises to jointly carry out the project and apply these models to the province./.
