On August 2, Long An General Hospital and Gospel Hospital - Kosin University (Republic of Korea) signed a cooperation agreement to establish a telemedicine medical center of Busan and Vietnam. The center is located at Long An General Hospital.

The establishment of the center aims to promote international medical cooperation through non-profit activities such as the world's advanced medical technology exchange. The implementation of the Center for the first period is 1 year from the inauguration. After that, 2 hospitals will discuss to re-cooperate in the following years.

According to Director of Long An Department of Health - Dr. Huynh Minh Phuc, the center will promote cooperation and effective operation of telemedicine activities, counseling and health management of patients in Vietnam in general and Long An in particular. At the same time, doctors can exchange health information and technical support; access to modern medical equipment, etc. In addition, patients are treated with new foreign diagnosis and treatment methods, contributing to reducing costs./.
