Battambang province is a locality with rugged terrain, many mountains and mines left over from the war. However, thanks to the sincere support and assistance of the government and people of Battambang province, since 2018, Team K73 has searched, gathered and repatriated 223 martyrs' remains and 1 collective grave of about 50 remains.

Therefore, currently, in the task of searching, gathering and repatriating martyrs' remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Cambodia, Battambang provincial government always pays attention and coordinates to help.
