Teaching children with disabilities requires great love and compassion: Vice President

Applauding the teachers’ dedication, Vice President Thinh expressed her hope that the teachers will nurture their passion at work and continue supporting more generations of students.

The State official reaffirmed that the Party and State always attach great care in the development of preferential polities to facilitate the educational sector.

Noting that people with disabilities accounted for nearly 8% of the country’s population, with a quarter of them being children, she emphasised that caring for people with disability is always among top priorities of the Party and State.

She also asked relevant ministries and sectors to support teachers of people with disabilities in order to encourage their further contributions to the country’s educational sector./.
