Thousands of Int’l students come to HCMC for learning Vietnamese
Vietnamese language faculty of University of Social Sciences and Humanities has run many courses with nearly 30,000 students from 95 countries and territories, reported the faculty at the meeting marking the 20th anniversary of its establishment yesterday.
The faculty also has sent lecturers to Vietnamese language courses in universities in France, Japan, South Korea, Tainwan (China), Australia, Thailand and Cambodia.
At the present, the faculty has been running 19 courses of Vietnamese with 271 students. 170 Korean students in universities such as Pusan, Chungwoon, Youngsan have graduated the Vietnamese course plus 98 master graduates of the first course.
The faculty has also cooperated with higher education facilities in South Korea and Taiwan to run online courses and tests.
Additionally, international seminars on Vietnamese learning and teaching have been held in Vietnam and many countries./.
