After checking, the team made a record for unknown original wild animals. In particular, these animals mainly such as pheasants, swamphen, cuckoo, lesser whistling duck, ornamental birds, and so on.

Through inspection, some shops were found with 500 - 600 unknown original birds. According to the representative of the inspection team, after the inspection, the team made a record and requested the shop owners to supplement the documents proving the origin within 24 hours. In case, shop owners could not prove their origin, the force will handle it according to regulations.

Together with the inspection, the Thanh Hoa district interdisciplinary inspection team also asked shop owners not to import new wildlife products. At present, the force for protecting forests has temporarily stopped confirming forest product lists and transporting wild forestry products out of the locality.

According to the Head of Agriculture and Rural Development Division of Thanh Hoa district, member of the interdisciplinary inspection team - Nguyen Kinh Kha, the inspection of wildlife trade at Thanh Hoa Agricultural Product Market was drastically carried out by the district over the past time. Initially, it was effective when business households no longer displayed wild animals for sale or slaughtered that caused repugnantly, some banned animals such as storks, snakes, rare and precious animals were no longer displayed at the market. However, it still takes time to tighten the management of the origin of animals for business households to agree on implementation.

According to functional sectors, the most difficult task is to check for all kinds of ornament birds, this is also a problem in the inspection and handling process.
