Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa checks the progress of establishing quarantine area and field hospital

Up to now, the facilities in the quarantine area and the field hospital have been urgently implemented by specialized branches: building and renovating isolation rooms to meet the necessary requirements; constructing tool rooms and specialized rooms for healthcare workers performing their tasks in isolation areas; communication systems, supervision cameras, etc.

Inspecting the actual progress, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee paid special attention to the construction of the wastewater treatment system, the treatment plan for domestic and medical waste. Through inspection, the tasks are being urgently coordinated to be carried out by the Department of Health, Department of Environment and related agencies. Some problems still encountered in the construction of waste water treatment systems, gathering areas and treatment plans for medical waste were surveyed at the field by specialized branches, discussing to propose treatment plans and emergency implemented.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa requested the Department of Health, Department of Natural Resources and Environment to urgently coordinate to overcome the outstanding issues that were directed, ensuring the facilities of the isolation and disease areas. The field hospital has been completed. Particularly, Department of Health urgently completes documents and procedures to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for signing and promulgating to put the quarantine area and field hospital into operation./.
