Youth volunteers from Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea visits Long An
On March 5, the Standing Committee of Long An Provincial Youth Union received an advance delegation from Institute of Social Welfare, Women, Families and Youth of Chungcheongnam, South Korea on volunteer activities and cultural exchanges between the two provinces.

Deputy Secretary of Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of Vietnamese Student Association of Long An province - Pham Van Hau and representatives of departments, branches, Youth Unions of districts, towns and schools welcomed the delegation. On the side of Chungcheongnam-do, there was representative of the Institute of Social Welfare, Women, Families and Youth of Chungcheongnam, South Korea - Jeong Woo Seong as the delegation leader.
At the meeting, representatives of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee approved drafts on the content of the advance camp and the schedule of the Chungcheongnam Provincial Youth Volunteer Group's cultural exchange in Long An Province.

On March 6, the working group will advance and discuss the content of volunteer activities at Bo De Phuong Duy Secondary School (Thu Thua district); Nguyen Trung Truc High School, Lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho Memorial Area (Ben Luc district); Long An General Hospital, Long An Monument Park "Brave and resilient, all the people fighting the enemy" (Tan An City).
In order for the program to run effectively and smoothly, delegates contributed unanimous opinions on the content and timing of the cultural exchange program between the two provinces.
Delegates contribute ideas to perfect the cultural exchange program
Specifically, the program is expected to take place at the end of July 2024. In particular, students from the two provinces jointly carried out projects to decorate classrooms, friendship benches, friendship flower gardens, plant trees at school and organize visits to Vietnamese students' families.
This is also an opportunity for students from the two provinces to exchange culture and arts, enjoy the specialties of the two countries; visit historical relics of Long An, etc.
Deputy Secretary of Provincial Youth Union - Pham Van Hau hopes that the cultural exchange program will create many impressions and lessons for students of the two provinces.
According to Deputy Secretary of Provincial Youth Union - Pham Van Hau, Long An province (Vietnam) and Chungcheongnam-do (Korea) have established cooperative relations in many fields since May 2005. In particular, the cultural exchange is a meaningful, practical and useful activity, creating conditions for cultivating good relationships between the youth of the two provinces.
On this occasion, representatives of Long An province and Chungcheongnam-do gave souvenirs to each other to further strengthen the solidarity and friendship of the two provinces in particular and Vietnam and Korea in general./.
