On April 19, 2022, the Prime Minister issued a decision on the investment policy for this project. Recently, Long An province has approved the 1/2,000 scale construction planning for this industrial park.

Loc Giang industrial park has a total planned land area of ​​466 hectares. According to the plan, this is a multi-industry industrial park, focusing on developing industries and industrial products with competitive advantages, saving resources; promoting modern technology, supporting industry, with high added value, orienting market to consume products, using less labor, causing less environmental pollution, flexibly meeting the diverse needs of domestic and foreign investors in terms of land use scale.

Loc Giang Industrial Park is oriented to attract clean industries, causing less environmental pollution and having modern production lines.

This project has 841 affected households, currently the inventory work has reached 100% of the project. By the beginning of July 2024, the district has approved 2 compensation plans for 192 households, 2 unclaimed land plots, 1 organization on an area of ​​nearly 96 hectares, with an amount of 749 billion VND.

Regarding compensation payment, by the beginning of July 2024, 50 households, on an area of ​​nearly 34 hectares, with an amount of more than 249 billion VND, have been paid. After review, 262 households are eligible for resettlement.

Area within the project planning

Currently, the locality is speeding up the progress of site clearance, promptly handing over land to investors, ensuring the process and procedures in accordance with legal regulations. At the same time, site clearance in the resettlement area is carried out to have land for infrastructure construction and handing over land to people.

Sectors, levels and investment units are coordinating to overcome difficulties and obstacles to effectively implement the project, ensure the proposed plan, soon put the project into operation, contributing to local socio-economic development./.
