It is expected that during his visit to Korea, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc will hold talks with his counterpart Yoon Suk Yeol, meet South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck Soo and South Korean National Assembly Speaker Kim Jin Pyo. The President will also have activities to meet overseas Vietnamese and launch the Vietnam Day event in Korea.

The State President's visit takes place in the context that the two countries are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, with the strategic cooperative partnership developing well, substantively and effectively.

Within the framework of the visit, the delegation will attend the Korea - Vietnam Business Forum. Accordingly, at this event, it is expected that Long An province and Saigontel - KIND - Hyundai - Lotte - Posco - Deawoo - SMBL consortium will sign Memorandum of Understanding on researching and developing infrastructure investment projects and high-tech projects in Vietnam under the witness of senior leaders of the two countries.

The event is expected to gather hundreds of businessmen and large enterprises of the two countries to attend. This will be a great opportunity for Long An to promote cooperation with Korean businesses in many fields, especially economic cooperation./.
