In the joy of celebrating the New Year of 2023 and Lunar New Year - the traditional New Year of the nation, in this sacred New Year's Eve moment, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Long An province, I cordially send to all compatriots, comrades, cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, heroic Vietnamese mothers, policy families, wounded and sick soldiers, dignitaries, religious believers, businesses, entrepreneurs, and fellow Long An people living and working in and out of the province, kind regards and best wishes for the new year!

Dear compatriots, comrades, soldiers and spectators!

Before the New Year's Eve of Lunar New Year 2023, we have the opportunity to look back on the achievements in 2022 that the whole province has made efforts to achieve. 2022 is the second year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress, 11th Long An Provincial Party Congress Resolution. With the spirit of solidarity, unity, high determination, and the constant efforts of the Party Committee, the government, mass organizations, the armed forces, the consensus of the People, the companionship of the business community, entrepreneurs inside and outside the province, we have overcome all difficulties and challenges to effectively control and overcome the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic; at the same time embarked on the restoration of production, business and socio-economic development, gradually stabilizing the people's life.

We are very happy when the economic growth rate in 2022 reaches 8.46%, the total state budget revenue is nearly 22 trillion VND, reaching 127.7% compared to the central estimate, and 121.4 % compared to the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council.

In terms of socio-cultural development, border security and defense have always been stable and maintained.

People's lives are basically guaranteed, no one is left behind; the spirit of solidarity, "mutual love" is promoted and spread throughout society.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, I would like to thank the support of the Government, ministries and central branches, the effective cooperation of friends in the country and international, the efforts of officials, soldiers, business community and all people in the province for the upward development of the province.

Dear all compatriots, comrades, soldiers and spectators!

The new year 2023 has a significant meaning as a year that creates momentum for acceleration and a pivotal for the following years to successfully complete the implementation of the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress and the 13th Party Congress.

Promoting the results achieved in 2022, the Party Committee, authorities and people of Long An province will continue to unite, dynamic, and creative, take advantage of opportunities, overcome difficulties and challenges, improve leadership direction and direction of government committees at all levels, innovate the mode of operation, play the role of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations.

The province will continue to focus on reforming administrative procedures, creating a high consensus within the Party and people to focus on economic development, creating positive changes, paying attention to the quality of medical examination and treatment, and promoting education and training, thereby improving and enhancing people's living standards, ensure social security.

We will try our best to maintain political security, social order and safety, build a strong political system from the ground up, turn Long An province into a friendly and potential investment destination.
