On October 14, former President - Truong Tan Sang; former Permanent Deputy Prime Minister - Truong Hoa Binh; Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee - Huynh Van Son; Director of Department of Education and Training - Nguyen Quang Thai came to survey to support building school in Can Giuoc district, Long An province.

According to the proposal of Can Giuoc district, the school construction site is on the campus of Nguyen Thi Mot Secondary and High School with an existing area of about 1.5 hectares in Phuoc Lai commune.
It is expected that the new school will be a High School, with an area of about 2.5 hectares. The district will mobilize and clear the site to ensure a suitable area. The total cost of building the school is expected to be about 100 billion VND, funded by former President Truong Tan Sang.
