General Political Department of Vietnam People's Army visits Long An Martyrs Cemetery

On December 2, the delegation of Political General Department of Vietnam People's Army led by Deputy Chairman of the Political General Department - Lieutenant General Le Hien Van visited Long An Martyrs Cemetery.

The delegation offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs

Leaders of 7th Military Region, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa and leaders of the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Police, departments, branches and People's Committee of Tan City An, Thủ Thừa district attended the ceremony.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation laid wreaths and offered incense to express their gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrifice their lives in order to safeguard the national independence, freedom and the lofty international mission.

The delegation reviewed the glorious history of the nation in the struggle to build and defend the country. Over the past 75 years, under the leadership of the Party, the Vietnam People's Army has constantly grown up with the tradition of “Our Army is loyal to the Party, pious to the people, ready to fight and sacrifice their lives for national independence and freedom, for socialism; fulfill any missions, overcome any hardships and defeat any enemies”.

The delegation gives gifts to policy beneficiary families

This is a meaningful activity to mark the 75th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army, 75th  anniversary of the traditional day of the General Department of Politics (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2019) and 30th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2019).

On the same day, the delegation visited and gave gifts to policy beneficiary families in Tan An city, Thu Thua and Tan Thanh districts./.
