Functional agencies inspect the discharge of waste into the environment

The functional force sanctioned administrative violations for 55 violations (51 organizations and 4 individuals) in the field of natural resources and environment with a total fine of more than 7.6 billion VND.

The inspection identified weaknesses, limitations and irregularities; recommended and promptly handled violating organizations and individuals, contributing actively to the state management of the natural resources and environment sector.

In 2020, the province direct focuses on the inspection of natural resources and environment. Accordingly, the province inspects the situation of land use management for units that are allocated or leased land but delay or fail to comply with the provisions of  Point i, Clause 1, Article 64 of the 2013 Land Law; inspects and handles violations in the field of environmental protection for Xuyen A Industrial park, Hoang Gia Industrial cluster, Duc Hoa Dong Industrial cluster in Duc Hoa district.

At the same time, the province inspects the management and use of water resources for units licensed by the Provincial People's Committee; regularly checks the activities of exploiting soil for leveling and clay for producing bricks and tiles in the province.

Specifically, the province focuses on cases of transporting land out of the province in Duc Hoa and Duc Hue districts; strengthens the inspection of responsibilities to district-level Natural Resources and Environment Divisions and commune-level People's Committees in case of occurring the violations of management, land use and mineral exploitation within their management./.
