Long An accelerates Covid-19 vaccination and cleans vaccination data

Currently, nearly 100 percent of people in the province are vaccinated with at least 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine, many of which have received 4 shots. Long An is at a level-1 epidemic, so activities are in the new normal state.

As of May 27, the province has cleaned data 39.65 percent. Districts with low data cleaning rates are Ben Luc and Duc Hoa; in which there are 2 districts of Chau Thanh and Tan Tru with data cleaning rate of over 70 percent. The remaining districts are at 30 percent or more and are still making progress on data cleaning.

With the vaccine passport, the province deployed to sign the number 187 out of 188 communes, wards and townlets (Long Khe commune has not yet signed the number) for the participants. Due to the overload of commune health care, the implementation of digital signatures for the entire population is still slow, still waiting for accurate information to be verified before signing in bulk. Communes continue to deploy digital signatures, if the verification of information is timely, the signing of vaccine passport numbers will be more convenient.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa requested that, in parallel with data cleaning, localities should pay attention to reviewing vaccination participants. In particular, efforts should be made to propagate and mobilize people to adhere to vaccination as recommended by the Ministry of Health, especially in the work of vaccination with the 4th dose and injection for children from 5 to under 12 years old.

When districts, towns and cities receive vaccines, they must immediately organize the injection, where the injection schedule is, then defrost the vaccine there, avoid affecting the quality of the vaccine and pay attention to injecting the right participants. The Department of Health pays attention to allocating the right type of vaccine to the participants; distribute vaccines according to the local registration number.

In addition, the Provincial Police should have a joint plan with the Youth Union and the Women's Union in data cleaning. Districts, town and city need to make more efforts to speed up the vaccination schedule and clean up vaccination data; etc./.
