Promoting regional connectivity
One of the typical projects selected by Tay Ninh province to start construction on October 3 is the upgrading and renovation of Provincial Road 830C, invested by Long An Construction Investment Project Management Board. The project has a total investment of up to more than 1,850 billion VND.
The route has a total length of about 9km, passing through the two communes of Ben Luc and My Yen. The starting point intersects with Nguyen Huu Tho Street (Ben Luc Commune), the end point is the border between Tay Ninh province and Ho Chi Minh City. In particular, the section from Nguyen Huu Tho Street to Nguyen Van Tiep Street is about 0.7km long, with a scale of 4 lanes; the section from Nguyen Van Tiep Street to the border of Ho Chi Minh City is about 8.3km long, with a scale of 6 lanes.
Director of Long An Construction Investment Project Management Board Nguyen Van Hung said the area around Provincial Road 830C is currently forming many urban areas, industrial parks, along with a port system on the Vam Co Dong River and Cho Dem River. "The traffic volume through here is increasing. However, Huong Lo 8 route (now Provincial Road 830C) was invested in 2002 with a scale of only 2 lanes—now seriously degraded, no longer meeting development requirements. Therefore, renovation and upgrading is extremely urgent" - Mr. Nguyen Van Hung added.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung (My Yen commune) expressed his joy when he learned that the project was about to start: "This road connects to Ho Chi Minh City; the traffic volume is very high, but the road surface is small, narrow, and degraded. Every time it rains, the road is flooded and damaged, making it very difficult to travel. Everyone is happy hearing the news of the upgrade."
In order to speed up the progress of the groundbreaking, the authorities of Ben Luc and My Yen communes have focused on carrying out the work of counting, compensating, and clearing the land for many months. According to Chairman of Ben Luc Commune People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Nam, most people agree with the policy and have received compensation, creating favorable conditions for the project to be implemented.
“We are inheriting the results that the old Ben Luc district has achieved, so right after the merger, the commune mobilized the entire political system to continue to soon complete the clean site and hand it over to the investor” - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam said.

When completed, Provincial Road 830C will strengthen inter-regional connectivity through key national highways and expressways
When completed, Provincial Road 830C will strengthen inter-regional connectivity through key national highways and expressways such as National Highway 1, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4, Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong - Can Tho Expressway, etc. Thereby contributing to reducing logistics costs, attracting investment, and promoting socio-economic development in the region.
Identifying infrastructure as a leverage for development in the new period, by the end of the year, the province will accelerate progress and disburse 100% of the capital plan for 2025, while focusing on key traffic projects such as Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, Provincial Road 830E, 827E, 830C and the Go Dau - Xa Mat, Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai expressways”.

Breakthrough in trade and social security
If transport infrastructure is the "backbone" for development, then trade and services are the face of a modern province. In that picture, the birth of Aeon Tan An Commercial Center creates an important highlight, contributing to changing the consumer life of Tay Ninh people. This project is the first commercial center of Japanese investors in the Mekong Delta region, with an area of over 21,870m² and a total investment of 1,076 billion VND. The project is expected to be inaugurated on October 4 but has been open to visitors since September 23 to serve local people and neighboring provinces and cities.
In addition to meeting shopping and entertainment needs, the center is also expected to become a new driving force to promote the development of the local trade and service industry. “For a long time, our people have wanted a modern shopping and entertainment center. When the Aeon shopping center comes into operation, the spiritual life and shopping needs of the people will be better met,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan (Long An ward) excitedly.

A representative of Aeon Vietnam affirmed that Tay Ninh province has great potential for trade and services, thanks to its advantage of a young, dynamic population and a strategic location as a gateway to the region. According to the Director of Aeon Tan An General Store and Supermarket Phan Duc Thong, the project is not only a shopping center but also a driving force for the development of the region. “Putting Aeon Tan An into operation not only brings practical benefits but also promotes trade and service development, creates more jobs, and contributes to the common prosperity of Tay Ninh and the region,” said Mr. Phan Duc Thong.
In addition to the commercial sector, the social security sector is also set out by the province in its balanced development strategy. The highlight is the Phuong Mai Social Housing Project in My Hanh Commune, which will start construction on October 7. The project has a total investment capital of up to VND 1,638 billion with 3 27-storey apartment towers, providing about 1,646 social housing apartments and commercial housing at reasonable prices, meeting the housing needs of workers and low-income workers.

Phuong Mai Long An Joint Stock Company Deputy Director Pham Phi Hung said: “We strive to implement on schedule, ensure the quality of the project, and be suitable for the payment capacity of workers”. This is not only a social responsibility but also a partnership with Tay Ninh province and the Government in implementing the Project “Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021-2030”, aiming to bring a stable and long-term life to workers and laborers.
The projects started and inaugurated on this occasion not only have the meaning of welcoming the 1st Provincial Party Congress but also represent the belief and aspiration of the Party Committee, government and people of the province on the journey of building the future. This is the foundation and driving force for the province to enter a new stage of development, firmly on the path of integration, building a rich and civilized homeland./.
The Provincial People's Committee held the groundbreaking ceremony for 4 large-scale social housing projects. These projects have a total area of 17,929 hectares, providing about 1,570 apartments/houses, meeting the urgent housing needs of workers and low-income people in the locality. |
