Long An: Businesses ‘solved difficulties’ through dialogue

Investors and enterprises in the province are met to promptly remove difficulties and problems

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Thanh Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Minh Lam presided over the dialogue; the representatives of provincial departments, committees and branches, leaders of the People's Committees of districts, town and city, and leaders of the Provincial Businessmen Association, the Youth Entrepreneur Association of the province and representatives of entrepreneurs and businesses operating in the province attended the conference.

At the conference, representatives of investors and enterprises proposed to leaders of Long An province and departments, branches and localities on issues that are hindering production and business to solve together. Accordingly, the Provincial Business Association proposes to amend item b, Clause 5, Article 1, Decision No. 40/2020/QD-UBND dated September 24, 2020 and carry out the annual land rental payment to pay land tax once for the entire lease period; Long An IDICO Construction Investment Joint Stock Company proposes to solve difficulties in converting investment goals and site clearance at the Project for expanding Residential Area of Ward 6, the reception of technical infrastructure for Central Residential Area Project of Ward 6 and detailed construction planning project of 1/500 scale of IDICO urban area in ward 5 and Huong Tho Phu commune of Tan An city; Hoa Thanh Long An One-member Limited Liability Company recommended the collection of seaport infrastructure fees in Ho Chi Minh City; etc.

The proposals of businesses and investors were answered directly by leaders of Long An province, related departments and branches at the conference. At the same time, the dialogue recorded to continue to have satisfactory solutions.

Speaking at the dialogue, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Minh Lam acknowledged and highly appreciated the candid opinions and recommendations of the Provincial Business Association, the Youth Entrepreneur Association of the province and businesses operating in the province. At the same time, he also represented the Provincial People's Committee to receive suggestions from investors and businesses to improve the business investment environment in Long An province. In addition, he wished that the Provincial Business Association, the Youth Entrepreneurs Association of the province would develop more members, gather and unite the business community to contribute to the overall development of the province in the coming time./.
