Long An delegation learns about semiconductor and microelectronics human resource development planning in Singapore
Within the framework of the study trip and training programs on human resource development in the semiconductor and microelectronic industry in Singapore from July 23 to July 27, on July 25, the Long An provincial delegation led by Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Minh Lam, together with leaders of relevant departments and branches, visited and worked with the semiconductor training facility of the Institute of Technical Education and the National Institute of Microelectronics of Singapore to learn experience in operating and managing the semiconductor wafer manufacturing process.

ITE is a post-secondary educational institution specializing in vocational education, established in 1992. ITE offers specialized courses in electronics and semiconductor technology, providing practical training with industry-standard equipment. The institute's cooperation with leading semiconductor companies ensures that the curriculum is always updated and suitable for the requirements of the industry. The goal of this institution is to learn and gain experience in designing vocational training programs in the semiconductor field (including artificial intelligence-AI applications) in Singapore.
On the same day, the delegation visited and worked with Amazon Web Services (AWS) - specialize in designing and manufacturing Semiconductor & Artificial Intelligence. AWS is a subsidiary of Amazon that provides on-demand cloud computing platforms to individuals, businesses and governments on a pay-as-you-go basis. AWS provides artificial intelligence solutions for businesses to apply to their operating models as well as promote semiconductor design and manufacturing activities.

Through the training session, listening to presentations from experts, the delegation learned and gained experience in designing and implementing training programs on applications and cooperation models to promote AI applications in the semiconductor industry not only in Singapore but also through online exchanges with experts in Malaysia; strengthened cooperation between educational institutions, vocational training institutions of the province with foreign educational institutions in training cooperation, information exchange, experience, fostering teachers, students, receiving and transferring programs, textbooks, learning materials, models, advanced teaching and learning methods in the field of semiconductor industry./.
