Long An province delegation works with Aeon Company in Japan

In the discussion with the delegation, Aeon CEO - Okazaki introduced the banana purchasing project of Huy Long An Company (HLA). In addition to banana, Mr. Okazaki said that Aeon is also interested in other Long An products, such as: Chicken, chicken eggs, pork, etc because these are items that can be sold in Japanese supermarkets.

Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc said that Long An will pay attention and prioritize the development of the HLA and TopValu brands, to jointly create value for Vietnamese bananas. At the same time, HLA requested to prioritize increasing banana input at Aeon supermarket because it is currently quite modest compared to demand. In addition to bananas, through this meeting, leaders of Long An hope that more Long An products will also have access to the Aeon supermarket system.

Established in 1758, Aeon is currently one of the largest retail trade groups in the world with 179 joint ventures inside and outside Japan. In Vietnam, this group has 8 member companies. Particularly, Huy Long An (HLA) officially cooperates with Aeon in 2023 with Top Valu products. Currently, the two sides are planning to develop the organic product line in 2024.

On the same day, the delegation worked with Nomura Real Estate Group. Nomura Group's CEO - Masato Yamauchi received the delegation.

Nomura Real Estate Group is known as a partner in the investment cooperation project "Ecological, commercial and tourism urban area" in Thanh Phu commune, Ben Luc district, Long An province with a total area of over 220 hectares between DB Investment & Development One Member LLC and Ecopark Group Joint Stock Company with a total investment capital of nearly 17,000 billion VND.

At the meeting, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc said that with the reputation and capacity of two corporations - Nomura and Ecopark, he believes in the project of "Ecological, commercial and tourism urban area" in Ben Luc district will become a smart, model urban area, contributing to modernizing urban areas of the province. Long An leaders also hope that the two sides will continue to exchange, sign cooperation, soon deploy the project and complete it according to the set schedule. The province commits to always creating favorable conditions for Japanese investors to invest in the province.
