Specifically, total domestic revenue hit VND10,230 billion, reaching 107.7 percent of estimates and accounting for 111.8 percent of 2016.

To obtain the above achievement, the taxation industry has made a lot of efforts. For instance, it has consulted on the provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee to issue documents guiding budget revenue collection operations and worked with relevant agencies to solve difficulties and problems for businesses and tax payers and increase revenues.

In addition, taxation agencies have carried out measures to speed up administrative reform, modernize tax management and apply information technology to contribute in improving business environment and national competition ability according to Resolution 19 of the Government.

Especially, the province has applied tax management software and prompted businesses to use electronic services provided by the tax industry.

On December 31, 2017, 99.8 percent of businesses in the province declared tax online, 97.9 percent registered e-tax payment and 92.2 percent of tax refund documents were solved online.

Legal documents have been emailed to businesses in a timely manner, reducing time to do administrative procedures related to taxes, meeting demand of businesses and residents and improving provincial competitiveness index.

This year, the province’s budget revenue estimates is set at VND12.85 trillion including tax collection of VND10,925 billion, up 15.6 percent over 2017./.
