On October 22, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An province launched a donation to support people in the Central region affected by floods and storms. Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province - Truong Van No said that in recent days, storms and floods have destroyed and flooded many Central provinces, caused great damage to people and property in the provinces: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Nam and Ha Tinh.

Responding to the call of the General Secretary and President - Nguyen Phu Trong, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An province calls on all people, officials, workers, and armed forces inside and outside the province to share with the difficulties of the people in the Central provinces.
